This map of Sandy Hill (now Hudson Falls, New York) in 1853 was featured in the Winter 2017 issue of Middlebury Magazine. It illustrated an article about Henry Bliss Northup, a Middlebury College alum who was the actual rescuer of Solomon Northup, who wrote the book Twelve Years a Slave.
